The crucial year in the history of the company. ASMET Artykuły Metalowe Andrzej Sajnaga with its registered office in Reguły near Warsaw started its operation. The Company was preoccupied not only with production but trade, too. The sales pavilion and the warehouse were opened. The company offered ordinary and quality screws, washers, nuts, screws, rivets and bolts on special order. Main suppliers were bolt manufacturers from southern Poland: "Śrubex" Łańcut, "Śrubena" Żywiec and "Bispol" Bielsko-Biała.

In these years, the company's sales and warehouse space increased. The offer was extended.

Another important step in the Company history. A mega store (supermarket), one of the largest stores in Poland offering bolts and other metal products, was opened. Grand opening took place on May 3rd, on the anniversary of passing the constitution. The ceremony started with a Holy Mass and consecration of a new hall.
The company employed about 60 people.

Obtaining SGS-ICS Certificate of Quality Management System compliant with ISO 9002:1994 in the scope of distribution of fasteners and technical articles.
ASMET established sales contacts with companies from Southern and Eastern Europe.

Staring cooperation with the world-known company August Friedberg GmbH. ASMET became the sole distributor of HV fasteners for Poland.
Social and office building was commissioned. Since then, ASMET would consistently develop it by adding new wings and storeys.

A high storage warehouse and a laboratory are built.

2000

ASMET S.A., incorporated company was established as a successor of ASMET Artykuły Metalowe.
ASMET Authorised Representative shop in Warsaw in Bartycka and a sales point in Żyrardów, the beginnings of ASMET sales network in Poland.
In the years 1992-2000, ASMET increased employment twenty times and the turnover increased thirty six times.

2001

ASMET bought a property with aluminium foundry from ZPC Ursus. The designer and creator of the foundry was Professor K. Gierdziejewski, one of the most important persons in the history of Polish foundry, the author of academic handbooks. ASMET restored and renovated the foundry and purchased new machines.
The Company was granted UDT-CERT (certifying unit of the State Office of Technical Inspection) for Quality Management System compliant with ISO 9002:1996 in the scope of manufacture and sales of fasteners.
It obtained the certifications of the State Office of Technical Inspection (Polish certificate) for manufacturing fasteners of hydrogen driers, including elements of pressure devices.

ASMET Artykuły Metalowe was awarded a prize in the 5th edition of the Mazowiecka Quality Award, one of the most prestigious, regional, Polish awards.
Andrzej Sajnaga received a title of Golden Engineer 2002 in contest of Przegląd Techniczny magazine, the most prestigious Polish technical magazine.
ASMET was authorised to mark HV bolt fasteners by August Friedberg with ASMET safety mark "B".

ASMET acquired a distinction in management in the 9th edition of the Polish Quality Award Polskiej Nagrody Jakoci 2003, a prestigious Polish award for management, granted by the member of European Foundation for Quality Management.
Andrzej Sajnaga, president of ASMET was elected an ordinary member of Engineering Academy in Poland, the member of Council of Academies of Engineering and Technological Sciences
The company employed about 140 people.
The Company was granted a certificate of the State Office of Technical Inspection for Quality Management System compliant with PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 standard in the scope of manufacture and sales of fasteners and sales of technical products.

2004

The Company receives a certificate for quality and environment management system compliant with ISO 14001 standard.
Technology and Continuous Development Club for employees, customers, contractors, simply people friendly to ASMET was established.
ASMET received a certificate of the Polish Chamber of Steelworks (organisation of business self-government associating manufacturers and assemblers of steelworks, metallurgical materials, aluminium products, producers of anti-corrosive paints and varnishes and scientific units) as a co-producer of steelworks, in the scope of fasteners and accessories for steelworks. This was the first such certificate to be granted by the Polish Chamber of Steelworks.
ASMET became a majority shareholder in bolts factory Bispol S.A., one of the biggest Polish bolts manufacturers.

2005

Andrzej Sajnaga, the President of ASMET, for creating new jobs was awarded DŹWIGNIA award by the Supreme Technical Organisation (the main Polish technical organisation) and by Przegląd Techniczny (the most prestigious technical magazine in Poland) with participation of the Polish Chamber of Commerce. ASMET Group employs approx. 250 persons.
